Wahyu Widiana Revealed His Secret

Jakarta l Badilag.net

One interesting question which arose in the Discussion Forum of Leadership of the Attorney General Personnel Division was on how to award personnel. The Director General of the Religious Courts, Wahyu Widiana answered that leaderships could pay their great attention to their personnel.

“Remuneration provided by the state is in fact very important to award our personnel. But, it is not enough,” Wahyu Widiana answered a question of Mrs. Aryani when he delivered his speech on “how to improve organization performance through award and incentive”, at Attorney General’s office, Wednesday (11/1/2012).

According to Wahyu Widiana, leaderships need to give immaterial attention to their personnel. It will be very beneficial to encourage them in improving their performance of work.

“We always monitor our personnel. When we know some of them have salient skill and performance, then we promote them to work in Jakarta. We involve them in a special team to support our programs. We also facilitated them to study in overseas,” He said.

He said that he had ever invited his honorary staff to get a trip to Australia. It was aimed to award him for his excellent skill in IT.

“We have made some important changes in our institution but they do not echo either inside or outside. Actually what is the matter?” Mrs. Aryani popped the question to Wahyu Widiana.

Wahyu Widiana explained that publication on progress and improvement of which have been done was absolutely urgent. It would make personnel proud of their institution. They would have high responsibility to preserve and to maintain the reputation of their institution.

According to Wahyu Widiana, his institution is fortunate to have a website, www.badilag.net. This website is utilized to support all programs including correspondence, delivering positive news, motivating personnel, etc. All Religious Courts consisting of 359 first instance courts and 29 appellate courts are well connected by this website.

Wahyu Widiana also informed that his institution got an international publication at the end of 2011. International Journal of Court Administration published the progress achieved by the Religious Courts.
“We spread this and we see all personnel and apparatus are very proud and delighted,” he said.
