Approximately 2.200 judicial staffs of religious court
will be transfered this year

Directorate General of Badilag will transfer about 2.200 judicial staffs of religious  court in 2012. They are included judges, court leaders and secretariat officials either at the first instance courts or the appellate ones.

"In order to refresh and to fill the vacant position we will conduct the promotion and transfer of approximately 2.200 judicial staffs this year and will be divided into three stages." The Director of the Development of Religious Courts’s Judicial Staffs, Drs. H.Purwosusilo, SH., MH. told the badilag.net editor in his office on Tuesday afternoon (17/01).

But he did not elaborate further how many judges and secretariat officials that will be transferred this year.

To avoid the case that the judicial staffs who have been long time working in one working unit without being transfered, Purwosusilo asked them to check their respective data at the Online SIMPEG (Personnel Management Information System). That is because there are still many technical staffs that have not been completed their data, such as the rank / final grade, the latest position and so forth.

"We asked our friends in the regions to check their respective data at the Online SIMPEG." He explained. “We will also conduct the consultations to the regions to coordinate with high religious court leaders to discuss the plans for promotion and transfer.” He added.

Purwosusilo promised that in 2012 the cost of transfer will be paid on time. Last year, of the total funds IDR 14 billion allocated by Badilag for transfer expenses, 100% had been absorbed at the end of the year.

"This year, we will pay the cost of transfer on time.” He said. Even before they receive the transfer decree, he asserted confidently, we will try that they will receive the funds.

In addition, in order to refresh and also make an ideal pattern of the transfer system, Badilag will continue to make improvements. The judicial staffs who have been long time working in a working unit should be transferred. Purwosusilo pointed out that for now, at least three years of judges who have served at a working unit have be to transferred.

In order to reach the ideal pattern, from year to year Badilag continued to rationalize the number of judicial staffs based on the number of cases handled in one working unit. So far, the total cases handled by the religious courts in Indonesia, 70% of them are in Java island and 30% are outside Java, but the number of judges handling cases in Java island is much less than those outside of Java.

"We've done the pattern for the high court judges who has been transferred in 2008 and the year before, and for the judges at the first instance courts by regarding the formation of judicial staffs in one working unit." Purwosusilo said. After that, at least two years after serving in the new working units, they will be transferred again to the regions near their origin location.

When asked about the future expectations, Purwosusilo said that Badilag and the working units in the region is a unity that can not be separated and should coordinate each other. The working unit in the regions provide the best service to the community, while Badilag will try hard to pay attention to their well-being in terms of promotions, transfers, trainings, so that the main tasks and functions of the court can run smoothly.

"Apart from being a medium of refreshment, promotion and transfer are parts of the welfare system of judicial staffs in the regions." He concluded.
